Terms & Conditions
By taking the Digital Experts UK Ltd satellite system repair and breakdown cover, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
- Our maintenance cover will be for a minimum of 12 month period, continuing thereafter as long as regular and timely payments are made by the customer.
- Our Breakdown Maintenance Plan covers the whole satellite system, unless required otherwise. This includes across the board coverage, which includes dish alignment, re-cabling and necessary repairs/replacements. Acts of God and/or accidental damage like storm damage, liquid damage, or any other damage caused by water/liquid entering into the box/system are not covered under this cover plan unless agreed otherwise.
- DEUK reserves the right to demand full payment due, if the customer cancels the cover note without the company’s consent before the first year ends.
- DEUK will not be held responsible for any overpayments made by the customer.
- If your dish needs shifting from its current location in order to receive the satellite signals, the customer will be charged.
- Our Maintenance Plan does not cover the free of cost repair/replacement of magic eye or any other unit that maybe run from another satellite receiver or attached to the system for other reasons.
- The Remote Control units will be exchanged free of cost during the tenure of the cover plan but are restricted to ONE remote control for each box covered in each year paid.
- The maximum number of service calls, to be entertained, free of charge, by DEUK, shall be three for each year paid.
- In case the monthly payments agreed through Direct Debit return unpaid, an administration charge of £5 for each failed payment will be applied and recovered from the next coming payment.
- In case the Direct Debit payment is returned unpaid, we will represent that in the next 7 working days failing which will result the cancellation of Direct Debit facility and the full amount will stand payable for the reminder of the length of the cover.
- If the date agreed for Direct Debit is a public holiday in a particular month, the amount will be taken on the last working day before the public holiday.
- You enjoy a 28 days cooling off period from the start date of your cover plan provided no service call have been registered by DEUK.
- You may cancel the cover after 28 days cooling off period but no money will be refunded in that case.
- For direct debit customers, where a service call has been registered, the cover cannot be cancelled within one year from its start date.
- All refunds shall be made within 28 days from the date of cancellation request received in writing.
- All repair or replacement parts/box/boxes are subject to availability. If a particular box or part needs to be replaced and is not available in stock, DEUK shall not be held responsible for the delay in its repair/replacement. A replacement box/equipment, however, shall be supplied to ensure standard viewing till the faulty item is replaced/repaired.
- The system/component/part/box that needs to be replaced will not be guaranteed to be a new one but will ensure the same functions that you were enjoying before the service call to us.
- Our engineers have been instructed to complete each service call on their first visit in a professional way. But it may, under certain circumstances, be passed to our other team, keeping in view the nature of the fault or other surrounding circumstances, which could result in repair taking place slightly longer than what we normally ensure.
- In case a system cannot be repaired/replaced on a service call, for the reasons beyond our control, customer may get a refund of the money paid for the cover provided no engineer visit or part replacement is registered during the period covered.
- DEUK’s Maintenance, Repair or Replacement Plans are not insurance/warranty covers by any shape, form, meaning or understanding. Hence these shall not be confused/taken with any other facilities or options that may be available in the market providing alike services.
All calls made to/from Digital Experts UK Limited may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
