Troubleshooting Tips:

The most common system fault is signalled by a "NO SATELLITE SIGNAL" or an ERROR code in the top right hand corner on a blue screen. Make a note of the Error code. At this point a general REBOOT as described below may help:

Rebooting:

  1. Switch off the Digital Box from the MAIN POWER switch and leave it off for 15-25mins;
  2. Plug out and then plug in back the cable/cables connecting to your digital box, coming from the satellite dish;
  3. Switch the box on, at which point the box will go to standby (It might take around 60 seconds before you can start operating your box through remote control);
  4. Press the top right hand button on the digital system remote control in order to turn the box on. At this point the light on the digital box will turn green.
  5. You will start viewing some channel on television screen which you can change to couple of other channels to see that all is working fine now.

If any fault occurs due to bad weather, note the conditions and try a general reboot as described previously.

If Remote Control Does Not Operate Your Box:

  • Try switching your satellite system off from electricity socket;
  • Then check all cables and wires are connected properly into your digital box;
  • Then turn the system back on from mains.
  • Sometimes the remote control does not work because the batteries run out, replacing the batteries with new ones will help in this case too.
